Harlequin's Rust it Paint is a waterbased black paint containing coated metal filings. Once applied in two coats and not quite dry the activator is applied. The activator soaks through the paint to get to the metal filings, the coating on the metal filings is dissolved and the surface begins to rust. Ideal for use on surfaces which you want to appear to be metal. Once completely dry, if desired, varnish using Harlequin's Furniture Varnish for interior use, and Harlequin's Exterior Varnish for exterior use.
